It is always a pleasure to welcome a world-class symphony orchestra to Kendal and how fortunate we were on Saturday, 30th September to hear the Hallé under the direction of the fine young conductor Alpesh Chauhan.

An exciting new season announced
The Lakeland Sinfonia Concert Society has announced its 2023/2024 programme. The first concert sees the Hallé perform in Kendal at the end of September and the season closes next May with Ulverston-born saxophonist, Jess Gillam performing with Royal Northern Sinfonia.
